A First-Time Buyer’s Guide to Greensboro and the Triad

Much of my business is first-time buyers, and the most common thing I hear is that the process feels overwhelming from the outside. It does not have to be. My job is to make sure you understand what is happening at each step and feel comfortable with the decisions you are making.

Start with financing: talk to a lender, find out what you qualify for, and ask about programs that might apply to you, including VA financing if you are a veteran or active-duty military. Then we build a search around what you actually need – the area, the commute, the type of home – rather than around what looks good online.

When you find a home you like, I explain the offer, the inspection, the appraisal and the closing before you have to decide anything. I do not believe in pushing people into a move just to make a sale. If a home is not right, we keep looking.
